April 15, 2013 update
Poprawiono pisownię. Oryginał poniżej.
My 6th run across Long Island will start May 4th, 2013 at North Woodmere Park in Hewlett and end sometime around noon on May 5th at Montauk Point. This is a 120-mile non-stop run (no sleep), almost the distance of 4 marathons run back-to-back!
As most of you know, this run is dedicated to breast cancer patients and their families. My efforts are to raise funds not only for research, but also for the necessary support that breast cancer patients need.
This is my appeal to you to support my efforts to help those who suffer from breast cancer. No donation is too small or too big. 100% of all donations will go to the Long Island Breast Cancer 2 Day Walk non-profit organization.
Together we can help to those who need our support and together we can win the battle against breast cancer! Let’s keep focus, let’s keep optimism, together let’s fight to win this battle!

This year’s run is especially inspiring to me because I recently lost a co-worker to breast cancer. I am dedicating this run in her name. If you would like to dedicate this run to someone you know who is, or was, afflicted with breast cancer, please send me their name. I will have all names submitted to me written on my t-shirt; just knowing that I am running to help these people and their families will help to keep me focused and motivated while I run.
This is the run that I had to cancel last year due to a fracture in my foot. Now, it seems my foot has finally healed, and I hope it will not break into a hundred the pieces during the 120 miles of pounding on sidewalks and asphalt roads. Please keep your fingers crossed, as well.
Thank you for your support. If you have any questions, please write to me at: sahararunner@yahoo.com
